Easily keep track of Pet Vaccines and set up automated communication with Owners to ensure expirations remain up-to-date.
ADDING/EDITING VACCINATIONS- Navigate to Settings > Pet > Vaccinations
- Click + Add New orto edit.
1. Select Pet Type
2. Enter Vaccination Name
3. Enter any Notes (not required)
4. Click the Checkbox if the Vaccination is Required by your facility and select the Services it is required for.
5. Click the Checkbox if you would like to send automated expiration reminder emails
SETTING UP VACCINE EXPIRATION REMINDER EMAILS
- Navigate to Settings > Communications > Owner > Notifications
1. Select Checkbox to enable
2. Select Checkbox for desired reminders and Edit the # of days before you would like the reminder to be sent.
Note: You may have up to 3 reminders sent prior to expiration.
EDITING THE VACCINE EXPIRATION EMAIL
- Navigate to Settings > Communications > Email Templates
1. Select Vaccine Expiration
2. Customize Email Subject & Body text, personalize by using Tags*
*When Tags are used, Kennel Geek will automatically insert the Tag's appropriate field into the Body of the email.
3. Confirm the message in Preview
4. Save Changes
EXPIRING VACCINES NOTICE WHEN SCHEDULING SERVICES
1. If a Pet's vaccines will be expired during the Checking In to Checking Out timeframe, an Expiring Vaccines notice will appear. Hovering over notice reveals the expired vaccinations.
INCLUDING EXPIRED VACCINATIONS IN RESERVATION CONFIRMATION EMAILS
- Navigate to Settings > Communications > Email Templates
1. Select Confirmation
2. Customize Email Body text and personalize using the vaccinations tag
3. Confirm the message in Preview
4. Save Changes
Note: The Vaccinations Tag is also available in the following email templates; Confirmation, Reminder, Updated & Approved.
