Kennel Geek allows users to easily track canceled reservations, alert you when an Owner has exceeded their limit, and more!
HOW TO CANCEL A RESERVATION
Cancelling a reservation can be done from the Owner Profile, My Kennel Screens and Owner Access*.
* Contact Kennel Geek to enable the ability for Owners to cancel via Owner Access
FROM MY KENNEL SCREENS
1. Click the Action Menu
2. Select Cancel Reservation
3. Choose the appropriate option for Cancelled By
4. Input a Reason for cancellation.
5. Click Submit to save.

FROM OWNER PROFILE AND OWNER ACCESS (when enabled)
1. Click on Reservations
2. Click the Action Menu
3. Select Cancel Reservation
When an Owner cancels a reservation, a notification will appear in Kennel Geek.
Clicking will open the notifications.
1. To view the Cancellation Reason, click Reason
2. To clear the notification click on the
OOPS! I CANCELLED A RESERVATION BY MISTAKE!
Don't worry, you can easily restore the reservation.
Navigate to the Owner Profile > Reservations > Cancelled
1. Click on the Action Menu
2. Select Restore Reservation.
USER ALERTS
For Reservation Cancellation Settings, Navigate to Settings > Communications > User Alerts
1. Select Owner has exceeded cancellation limit
2. Enter the # of cancellations allowed
3. Enter the Timeframe to check for cancellations (in months)
4. Select the Cancellation Types to include in the limit
5. Select the Services to include in the limit
Note: Repeating Daycare/Training Reservations do not count against limit.
6. Click the checkbox if you would like to disable Owner's ability to make reservations via Owner Access once their limit is reached.
7. Save
When the limit has been exceeded by an Owner this icon: will be displayed on My Kennel Screens, Owner Profile and Scheduling Screens.
REPORTING
Cancelled Reservations can be viewed by navigating to Reports > Owner > Cancelled Reservations
