User Alerts

Visual indicators throughout Kennel Geek assist users when certain situations occur.

To enable or disable User Alerts, navigate to Settings > Communications > User Alerts

    1. Service Icons will appear in Red when a Pet has expired vaccinations.  When hovering the cursor over the icon, text will indicate which vaccinations need to be updated.

    2. If a Pet has not passed a Temperament Test, Incomplete or Failed Temp. Test  icons will appear next to the Pet's name.  When hovering the cursor over the icon, text will indicate the Incomplete or Failed status. 

    3. If you do not have a signed contract on file, the No Contract Signed icon  will appear below the Owner's name. 

    4. When an Owner has exceeded the cancellation limit this Icon will be displayed on the Owner Profile, Scheduling Screens and My Kennel. When hovering the cursor over the icon, text will indicate the limit has been exceeded. 

            4a. Enter the # of Cancellations allowed

            4b. Enter the Timeframe to check for Cancellations (in months)

            4c. Select the Cancellation Types to include in the limit

            4d. Select the Services to include in the limit

            Note: Repeating Daycare/Training Reservations do not count against limit.

            4e. Click the checkbox to disable Owner's ability to make online reservations once their limit is reached. 

    UPDATING INFO TO "SOLVE" USER ALERTS

    If the User Alert is incorrect, it is likely the Owner/Pet information needs to be updated.

    1. Update Vaccine Expiration Dates by clicking on the Pet's name, select the Medical tab at the top, click Edit, change the vaccination expiration to a non-expired date, then click Save. 

    2. Update Temperament Test status by clicking on the Pet's name, in the Pet Info tab, click Edit, select Passed in the Temp. Test field, then click Save.

    3. Update a Signed Contract by clicking on the Owner's name, select the Contract tab at the top, click Edit, select Yes in the Contract Signed field, enter Contract Signed Date, then click Save.
